We will sit down and discuss your unique situation, expectations, and goals prior to having you lay down on the massage table.

We will discuss what time frame and 'Menu Item' will work best and what modalities seem most appropriate to your body's needs today. Once we have a direction in mind, we will head into the 'healing room' and begin our time together - never 'starting the clock' until I first lay on hands. In this way, we have a focused session, we have a familiar sense of each other, and we can work together to acheive the goal we set out together.

Why do I say I 'guarantee my work'?

It all goes back to my original inspiration to enter the healing profession: I began this self healing journey with a strong yearning to help others. I decided that bodywork - being a universal language- was an incredible avenue to acheive this goal. (For who can't appreciate the unique Joy of being a little more 'comfortable in their own skin'!) I am grateful to have been able to take my natural affinity and abilities for healing to the 'next level' during my formal education process. I believed that the better understanding I have of the human anatomy, and the more familiar I become with the art of movement and its effects and stresses it poses on the body- the better I could serve myself and my clients.

I am proud to say that I have been trained by some of the best teachers on the planet- The Healing Arts Institute in CA attracts a tremendously talented teachers in a spectacular array of subjects. I offer you the comglomeration of what I call a 'ShaylaMassage'- a session that draws upon over 1,000 hours of formal class training, twenty years of 'laying on of hands' empathic bodywork, and over 7 years of hands-on, anatomy-driven, experience as a licensed Massage Therapist.
